If kids learn the hardships and sacrifices that their ancestors made to win liberty for them, they might not take it for granted as much. This is a great PBS series that teaches kids principles, and it often shows things from different perspectives. Most adults would even learn a lot from this series–so you might want to bookmark it and watch it as a family.
