Lee Grippen

Lee Grippen was honored with the prestigious St. Olav’s Medal from King Harald V of Norway for his contributions to promoting the bonds between Norway and the United States through his tireless volunteerism with organizations dedicated to Norwegian-American culture. This is the ceremony at which he was presented with the award, which took place at the Heritage Center. In this first portion, Jill Storlie, MC of the event, gives an introduction; Pastor Ron Nowland says a blessing; the American and Norwegian National Anthems are sung, led by Rachel Storlie; and Lee Grippen is presented with the medal by Eivind Heiberg.
