Milestone Project

When someone turns 85 or older, Giants can help celebrate the occasion through our Milestone Project. We look at a person’s family tree and add to it using our local resources, including stories from the SPRING GROVE BYGDEBØK and information gleaned from ancestry.com. We make a binder of all the information, photos, and stories that we can find for that person. Then we ask them if there are any errors or if they have additions for the binder. After the binder is complete, there is a celebration and program where we have a party in honor of the recipient and give them this binder.
