Join our local host Adrian Gabor, a native of Romania who has resided in Spring Grove since 2020.
Adrian will guide us through an overview of his country’s rich and beautiful geography, history, culture, language, and cuisine!
We will also see pre-recorded videos from co-host Rachel Storlie’s Romanian friends Flavia and AnaMaria, who reside in Cedar Falls, IA.
Finally, Vendela Parker will delight us with fun facts about the rich literary history that stems from the legends of Transylvania and how this interest fuels her passion as a young researcher.
On the menu is a variety of small Romanian bites: Eggplant Dip (Salata de vinete), Stuffed Cabbage Rolls (Sarmale), and Cheese Donuts (Papanasi); and we look forward to trying these items thanks to Chef/Host Adrian!
