Join us for the christening and dedication of the Restauration model ship made by Ken Anderson. There will be a short program, singalong, and light snacks.
In search of religious freedom, a group of Norwegians aboard the ship Restauration set sail from Stavanger, Norway on July 4, 1825 carrying 52 people and arrived in New York City on October 9, 1825. This began the era of mass immigration from Norway to America.
